You're Just Like Adam and Eve!

God had commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil...

"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." -Genesis 2:17

Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit anyway...

"And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." -Genesis 3:6

God was displeased. As a result, Adam and Eve were punished and driven out of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:16-19, 22-24). Sin had now entered the human race and mankind became sinful by nature...

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" -Romans 5:12

We are all prone as human beings to do the things we know we're not supposed to do. God stereotypes humanity in Ephesians 2:2, calling us by nature the "children of disobedience" and the "children of wrath." Listen to the words of the Word of God...

"They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one." -Romans 3:12

We are ALL sinners deserving of death...

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." -Romans 6:23

The Bible warns us about a "second death," a lake of fire...

"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power..." -Revelation 20:6

"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." -Revelation 20:14-15

All Christ-rejecters WILL be cast into the lake of fire to burn in torment for all eternity...

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" -2nd Thessalonians 1:8

The way to be saved is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ...

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." -Romans 1:16

The Gospel is the atoning work of Christ: His death, burial and resurrection...

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" -1st Corinthians 15:1-4

Jesus shed His blood to pay for our many sins...

"...and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." -1st John 1:7

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" -Colossians 1:14

If you are willing to confess your sinful condition to God, then you only need to believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. Simply come to the Saviour and ask Him to forgive your sins and take you to heaven...

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -Romans 10:13

There is no magic in a prayer to save you. Salvation is a supernatural act of a Divine God in response to your faith. We are not saved because we pray a prayer, we are saved because we believe upon Jesus Christ as our Saviour (Acts 16:31). Salvation is of God, not man...our only part is to believe upon the Lord. Good works cannot save us...

"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." -Romans 4:5

The ONLY Way to heaven is through the Saviour, Jesus Christ...

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." -John 14:6

Oh won't you come to the Saviour right now? Jesus wants to save you and has promised never to turn anyone away who comes to Him...

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." -John 6:37

It's so simple to be saved: you are a sinner, and Jesus is the Saviour. If you'll simply turn from your unbelief and trust upon Jesus Christ 100% to save and forgive you...then you will indeed become a born again child of God. Listen to the beautiful words of Isaiah 45:22

"Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else." -Isaiah 45:22

Look and live my friend...look to Jesus and live!

Psalm 37 v 3 - 11

v3 Have faith in the Lord, and do good; be at rest in the land, and go after righteousness.
v4 So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.
v5 Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.
v6 And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like the shining of the sun.
v7 Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.
v8 Put an end to your wrath and be no longer bitter; do not give way to angry feeling which is a cause of sin.
v9 For the evil-doers will be cut off: but those who have faith in the Lord will have the earth for their heritage.
v10 For in a short time the evil-doer will be gone: you will go searching for his place, and it will not be there.
v11 But the gentle will have the earth for their heritage; they will take their delight in peace without measure.

HOW?

The devil cause us to doubt and we look at our circumstances instead of looking to God.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things not seen.

Lets analize this verse:
Faith = * Substance of things hoped for
* Evidence of things not seen

What is substance?
- Material
- Buildingblocks
- Bricks

We need this substance (Faith) in order to be able to believe. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Evidence = When others can see what you have received through faith.

Two things are needed for faith: Substance & Evicence

Rom 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);

The word of faith should be in your heart and mouth, you must believe with your heart and confess with your mouth, this is your legal standing before God.

Stop contradicting the heart by what you speak with your mouth.

Faith without works is like the body without the spirit. Here is the steps:
1. Believe with your heart
2. Confess with your mouth
3. Walk in the word of God

Mar 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

If we believe and know that God hears our prayers, we have received. It may take a while to materialize in the physical world, but remember; It is as you believe that it shall be done unto you. God wants to see the true state of your heart, He tests the heart.

How many times do you confess negatively over what you believe in your heart?

Focus on the spiritual and turn away from the physical. How? How can you give thanks for something that you don't have yet?

All things belong to us, so we must give thanks unto God. Put faith into practice. Stop wanting to see first before you believe, first believe and you will be amaized at the results. Start to worship God in spirit and truth. God will honor you.

Rest in the provision that God has for you, He said you have it, so you must believe that you have it. He will move heaven and earth for you if you dare believe in Him.

Always guard the words of your mouth:

-Look }
-Believe } The Word of God
-Confess }

Loving one another

Mat 22:35 And one of them, a teacher of the law, put a question to him, testing him, and saying,
Mat 22:36 Master, which is the chief rule in the law?
Mat 22:37 And he said to him, Have love for the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and greatest rule.
Mat 22:39 And a second like it is this, Have love for your neighbour as for yourself.
Mat 22:40 On these two rules all the law and the prophets are based.

The above scriptures is the Old Testament way of loving, not the New Testament way of loving. It is the Law (the Ten Commandmends grouped together)

The first 5 Commandmends is about us loving God (Mat 22:37 And he said to him, Have love for the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.)

The second 5 Commandmends is about us loving our neighbour as ourself (Mat 22:39 And a second like it is this, Have love for your neighbour as for yourself.)'

Love is the foundation for the Kingdom of God because God is Love.

So what is the New Testament way of loving then? It is a new commandmend given to us by the Lord, to love one another as He loves us.

Do people know you are a dissiple for Jesus? How will they know? By our love towards one another.

John 13:34 I give you a new law: Have love one for another; even as I have had love for you, so are you to have love one for another.
Joh 13:35 By this it will be clear to all men that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.

Joh 15:12 This is the law I give you: Have love one for another, even as I have love for you.

If we love the Lord we will keep His commandment to love one another. We don't have to do it in our own strength, He is using His strenght and love to work through us, we must just be willing. God is fully capable of loving through you if you stand aside and let Him get to work. God wants to take over your live. All or nothing, not just some piece of you.

If God is in you, you must love, you have no choice. And to love completely, you must forgive.
If you have unforgiveness towards others, you don't love God. Without God you can do nothing, only He can help you to forgive and love.

God = Love (they are one)

John 17 - Jesus prayed for you
- He has compassion for you
- He wept for you

Are you willing for Him to work through you so you can pray for others, have compassion for others and weep with/for others?

Allow the love of God to flow through you and rest in His provision for you. And remember: there is only one way that you can claim to know God - when you do what He has commanded: LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

How can a woman not love the Lord?

How can a woman not love the Lord?

He is a gentleman,
He is confident
He is a provider and protector
He is rich and powerful
He owns everything; there is nothing He wouldn't do for me
He perfects all things concerning me
He anticipates my wants and needs.
Every day He tells me and shows me how much He loves me
I don't have to perform in order to earn His love
He keeps all of his promises
No one can influence His opinion of me
He is the ultimate intimate partner
He can't "disown" me because I am a part of Him
He prepares a table before ME (Selah)
He covers me and doesn't expose me
He wrote his loving words down so that I'll never forget how He
Feels about me!

NOW THAT'S LOVE!!!
